 This is a great iPhone charger September 8, 2010

Like a dummy, I bought this charger without reading the reviews. However, given that this charger costs a fraction of the price of other chargers, after I read the reviews, I decided to use it to charge my iPhone 4. As an iPhone charger, it works great. I have been plugging it into the dash as I do my normal driving. I have had no problems, and it seems to work fast.
My theory is that the ad offering this charger for sale was a typo. The ad says it's an iPad charger, then in the same breath says it will charge your iPad OR iPhone. I think they meant to say iPod and said iPad instead, which is only one letter off. Then it makes sense to say iPod and iPhone in the same sentence. The iPad is different, and wouldn't necessarily take the same charger.

This is simple and compact charger with a just long enough curly cord. I don't like curly cords.

The charger comes on and lights up when it is plugged in but it doesn't charge my ipad. I've tried it in several cars and get the same result.
